West Ham are reportedly in “continuous dialogue” with Chelsea over the sale of their midfielder Conor Gallagher this summer.

According to ExWHUemployee, the Hammers will submit an offer should the Blues be willing to let go of the 22-year-old.

West Ham are understood to be keen on signing another central midfielder this summer and have identified the England international as an option.

Ex wrote, “We are in continuous dialogue with Chelsea for Connor Gallagher and will move for him if he is made available.”

Great signing

Gallagher would be a terrific addition to this side and would strengthen the midfield.

Tomas Soucek faces an uncertain future and even if he stays, his place in the eleven seems to be up for grabs.

In 2020/21, he had an incredible campaign and it was hard to predict the decline in the following season, but it happened.

If Gallagher joins, he will want regular game time as it’s a World Cup year and he’s proven himself over the course of the last two seasons.

First, at a relegated West Brom side, he showed that he was a cut above the rest in that side and staked a claim for being in the Premier League.

He was again given a chance at Crystal Palace and he did wonders under Patrick Vieira as well and is likely to look for opportunities this season as well.

We’re unsure whether or not West Ham are looking to make this a permanent move or are only eyeing him on loan, but whatever it is, Gallagher must be signed.
