ExWHUemployee: West Ham set to make Lukasz Fabianski announcement soon
West Ham have reportedly agreed upon a new deal for goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski as his current one runs out at the end of the season.
According to ExWHUemployee, the 35-year-old will be on the club’s books for at least another year.
Despite Alphonse Areola waiting for a regular starting role, the Pole is set to stay put at the London Stadium.

Speaking on the West Ham Way podcast, Ex said, “Fabianski’s new deal is pretty much agreed anyway and they’re going to announce it officially soon.”
Is it needed?
If Fabianski’s extension sees Areola leave then it does not make sense for him to be given a new deal.
The Frenchman is the future of the club if he has been deemed worthy of being the long-term number one.
Fabianski might just have another season at the top level after which he will be needing replacing.
This does not sound like a pretty wise move from the decision makers at the club and we’re surprised that there’s no clarity on Areola.

Hopefully, after Fabianski, they focus on getting this one over the line as it is much needed.
David Moyes surely would be a major part of the long-term plans and it’s surprising to see so much uncertainty surrounding all of this.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have scouted a £20m-rated ‘Dangerous’ British striker and want to seal a permanent move this summer.
