ExWHUemployee: West Ham ready golf-themed promo video to welcome James Ward-Prowse
West Ham are already preparing their announcement video for James Ward-Prowse’s arrival, according to ExWHUemployee.
Writing via his Patreon (11 August), the Hammers insider reported that a golf-themed video is being prepared for the 28-year-old’s arrival, a tribute to the midfielder’s trademark celebration.
An announcement isn’t likely today, however, with the results of the medical still yet to come back and the finer details of the contract left to be ironed out.

This means the 12pm registration deadline has been missed and the Englishman therefore won’t be available to feature against Bournemouth in his new side’s Premier League opener on 12 August.
Hole in one
Many supporters will be eagerly refreshing the club’s social media platforms over the next 24-48 hours as they await official confirmation from West Ham that the deal has gone through and Ward-Prowse has been officially signed.
Once everything is official, fans can look forward to a new-look midfield next season which will see the long-term Southampton star line up alongside Edson Alvarez, who was brought in this week from Ajax.

A benefit of Ward-Prowse is that his vast experience of Premier League football means he won’t need too much time to settle compared to his Mexican midfield partner, and could actually help Alvarez adapt to life in England.
It sounds like the club have got the announcement spot on as well and fans will look forward to seeing what exactly they do to announce such a brilliant addition to the squad.
Perhaps they can expect to see some type of hole-in-one pun to celebrate the free-kick specialist’s arrival.
