ExWHUEmployee expects delay in Alex Kral signing

Reliable insider ExWHUemployee reports that West Ham United’s interest in midfielder Alex Kral appears to be cooling.

On his West Ham Way Patreon page, he shared that Spartak Moscow will have to lower their valuation of the player which is understood to be in the region of £20-25m.

Kral’s agent had held provisional talks with West Ham to settle on personal terms, but the two clubs had never agreed on a transfer fee which is now the major stumbling block.

This has led to the Hammers cooling their interest for the time being as they’re looking to pursue other targets before they’re in a position to revisit this deal.

ExWHUemployee said, “Alex Kral’s move to West Ham appears to be cooling. The two clubs had not talked to agree a price.

“When prioritising signings it appears that maximum funds want to be put aside for a forward and securing Jesse Lingard. The transfer of Kral could be revisited but the Russian club would need to lower their demands of around £20-25m for the player.

“The club had thought that it seemed a good deal originally but at the moment the price would mean potential other targets are missed out.”

Can’t be happening

We seemed extremely close to completing this move and now suddenly have been priced out of it by Spartak’s valuation of the player.

While ExWHUEmployee believes they’re cooling interest for now, it could be to drive down his price as recent reports have suggested that the Russian club are already lining up a replacement for the midfielder, according to Sportitalia TV journalist Gianluigi Longari.

However, what looked like a done deal, is anything but. There are likely to be a few more twists and turns before the 23-year-old arrives in East London.

As of now, he’s preparing for the Euros while we’re possibly looking to complete Jesse Lingard’s permanent signature and luring a striker to the London Stadium.
