ExWHUemployee shares if West Ham have tabled bid for Chelsea striker Armando Broja
West Ham have reportedly not made an official bid for Chelsea striker Armando Broja despite being in talks with him.
According to ExWHUemployee, the Hammers have been in discussions over signing Broja along with many other targets while David Moyes sees him as a priority.
Gianluca Di Marzio recently reported that the Blues could demand a fee between £25million and £30million in order to part ways with the Albanian.
Via his personal Twitter account, Ex wrote, “I don’t think a formal offer has been submitted yet but there has been some discussions as there have with the other targets I mentioned but I believe Broja has always been a top choice for Moyes (something we said months ago).”
Snap him up
Moyes has been looking for a striker ever since Sebastien Haller left and the board did not properly back him.
Broja is the man he’s wanted for months and it makes sense to go for him, especially given the price the Blues are ready to sell him for.
Despite the rivalry between the two clubs, transfer negotiations have seldom been difficult, especially when both parties want to get the deal done.
West Ham finally set the ball rolling in this window when they snapped up the services of centre-back Nayef Aguerd from Rennes.
They are keen to get Alphonse Areola over the line as well and Broja could be the next name that follows.
He would be a terrific fit for Moyes’ side and could help them stake a realistic claim for the top four, having fallen narrowly short in these last two seasons.
