ExWHUemployee shares Declan Rice to Arsenal update as West Ham United kit list appears

ExWHUemployee has shared the latest on Declan Rice to Arsenal after the midfielder appeared on the West Ham website on the day of their kit launch.

The 24-year-old’s jerseys were not being sold for the past few days but they’re now available for the new kit for the 2023/24 season.

However, Ex does not see this as an indication of his staying and claims he will be signing forms on Friday and officially become a Gunners player.

He wrote on Twitter, “I wouldn’t read too much into it, I would guess it will be removed soon but technically he is still a West Ham player until he signs those forms (which he is expected to do on Friday).”

Get it done

Everyone knows that Rice wants to join Arsenal and that he’s having his medical there, so it needs to be done as soon as possible.

It’s a surprise that some West Ham fans still believe that he could play again for the club as that’s not going to happen.

He will be the seventh player to leave the club this summer as Arthur Masuaku, Manuel Lanzini, Ademipo Odubeko, Armstrong Oko-Flex and Brian Kinnear, as well as scholar Asher Falase, have all parted ways with the Hammers.

West Ham

David Moyes knows that he’s got a massive rebuild job on his hands, especially after his best player and captain is no longer going to be at the club.

Rice will bring in a record transfer fee and that’s going to be paramount for the Hammers to sign new players this summer.

It remains to be seen whether they sign two midfielders to cope with Rice’s absence or bring in just one player and strengthen the side around him.

In other West Ham news, an injury expert has claimed that Moyes’ physical demands could see another star player seek a London Stadium exit this summer.
