ExWHUemployee: Second part of medical today as West Ham United look to announce Emerson transfer on Tuesday
West Ham United are likely set to announce the signing of Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri on Tuesday, according to ExWHUemployee.
The reliable source has reported that the second part of the Italian’s medical is due within hours, with the media obligations to follow at either Rush Green or the London Stadium.
Emerson will then put pen-to-paper on his new contract with the Hammers after being persuaded with a long-term five-year deal with the club.

Writing on his official Patreon page on Tuesday morning [23 August], Ex shared the news that everyone has been waiting for all week at the London Stadium.
“The club expect to finalise the deal for Emerson today all going to plan,” he wrote.
“The second stage of his medical is due to take place today, then there will be the usual media shots and we think by the end of the day the announcement made. Of course, it isn’t a done deal at this stage because the medical can change everything as it has done before but most of the stages are complete now.
“He will be signing for an initial £13m with an additional £2m in bonuses agreed. It is expected to be a 5-year deal that has also been a factor in persuading the 27 times capped Italian international to join.”

Get it done.
This has turned into yet another transfer saga over the recent weeks.
What is it about West Ham United and failing to get certain transfers over the line quickly? Agents appear to be playing a big role in that with big demands, as was the case here it seems.
Emerson arrives as a big-time winner at Stamford Bridge, regardless of whether or not he actually played huge roles in many games during his time there.
That mentality of being in a winning dressing room will serve us well, and hopefully, his experience can help kick us onto the next level both domestically and in Europe.
Moyes will be crying out for numerous reinforcements in this final week of the window, with their arrivals hopefully handing the squad a big boost after failing to pick up a single point so far in the Premier League.
All eyes are already on the club waiting for this announcement – bring it on.
