ExWHUemployee reacts to Daily Express West Ham transfer update

ExWHUemployee has raised suspicion that Daily Express have nabbed their inside info on their West Ham transfer report today.

According to reports from Daily Express, the Hammers are plotting a double move this month, with Ben Brereton Diaz and Nat Phillips being considered.

Ex, a reputed source that shares inside information from the club, has claimed that the Express may have nabbed their stories.

On their podcast show, Ex has discussed West Ham’s potential targets, where he did mention that a deal at this stage for Brereton is unlikely to happen.

When asked if he meant the Express have nabbed their story, he replied: “Seems so but who knows”.

January signings

The Hammers are yet to make a new signing this month but they could remain busy in the final few days of the window.

Brereton Diaz has been in scintillating form this season. The 22-year-old has scored 20 goals this season, but prising him out of Blackburn Rovers won’t be easy.

Rovers, third in the league, are aiming for promotion to the Premier League, and they won’t entertain the idea of losing their star player.

It will require a massive transfer fee to take the Chilean away from Ewood Park.

Phillips is a more realistic target.

The Liverpool defender has dropped down the pecking order at the club, and Jurgen Klopp is open to selling him this month.

He needs regular games, and the 24-year-old is available for around £15m million.

West Ham need a centre-back this summer, and moving for Phillips makes a lot of sense.

In other West Ham news, Kaveh Solhekol dropped a major Hammers transfer update on Sky Sports News on Wednesday.
