ExWHUemployee drops West Ham transfer news with new bids in, update shared on James Ward-Prowse medical
West Ham are waiting on the results of the medical of Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse before announcing the deal, according to ExWHUemployee.
The reliable Hammers insider wrote on his Patreon on Friday (11 August) that there have been fresh bids made for potential new signings as well.
The Hammers have only officially announced Edson Alvarez thus far this summer with Manchester United defender Harry Maguire understood to be close.

Ex wrote, “James Ward-Prowse is awaiting the results of his medical before the final parts of the deal can be concluded for the midfielder who was obviously not registered in time.
“West Ham also have bids in for a number of other players.”
Too slow
The first game of their season is on Saturday and it’s embarrassing to see just one new signing over the line.
They’ve lost Declan Rice and Gianluca Scamacca and could potentially see Lucas Paqueta leaving as well.
They’re in a far weaker position than they were last season and look destined for relegation unless they make some big moves.

There’s also understood to be chaos behind the scenes between David Moyes and Tim Steidten and it remains to be seen how that transpires in the coming weeks.
West Ham fans have every reason to be worried going into the new season and hopefully, the ramifications aren’t too dire.
It remains to be seen who the players are that the club’s bid for and hopefully, things move quickly.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
