ExWHUemployee: Adnan Januzaj set for Venezia despite talks with West Ham
West Ham are reportedly set to miss out on the services of former Manchester United attacker Adnan Januzaj despite being in talks with him.
According to ExWHUemployee on 28 August, Serie B club Venezia have won the race to sign him and he is on his way to Italy to finalise the move.
It is understood that regular playing time was a prerogative for him and he did not see that happening at the London Stadium.

Ex wrote, “It looks like Adnan Januzaj is not on the way after initial discussions having opted to move elsewhere, where he was guaranteed more first team football. It is thought he going to Italy to complete his move to Venezia.”
Bullet dodged
Januzaj would have come to the London Stadium with decent Premier League experience – having played 75 times in the English top flight.
However, he was always the ‘What could have been’ player at Manchester United and failed to do well at Sunderland either.
David Moyes previously worked with him and surely liked the personality behind the scenes and believed that he would serve as a decent squad player at the club.
Januzaj is a full Belgium international so there’s no doubt about his talent but he lacks the end product and really would not have offered the Hammers too much.
Also, with the signing of Maxwel Cornet, West Ham look fine in the wide areas and they may not bring in any new players before the transfer deadline.
Lucas Paqueta appears to be the next player through the door as the Hammers have really spent big money this summer as they eye for top 10 finishes three seasons in a row.
