Everything West Ham fans need to know about Pablo’s contract as new injury blow emerges
West Ham could be without Pablo until April after he picked up a calf injury.
The Brazilian completed his move to the London Stadium in the summer and has gone on to be a useful asset under Nuno Espirito Santo.
He has often featured alongside fellow new signing Taty Castellanos in a front two that has helped the Hammers turn their form around.
That has resulted in widespread frustration after the forward suffered a calf injury before the FA Cup fourth round clash with Burton Albion.
West Ham Zone has now looked into Pablo’s contract in East London as he looks set to miss around six weeks of action.

What is Pablo’s current contract situation at West Ham?
The 22-year-old only joined the Irons on 2 January, but is already set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
That certainly won’t benefit Nuno in his efforts to drag the claret and blue outfit out and away from the relegation battle.
There were hopes that the attacker would make a positive impact in front of goal after he netted 10 Liga Portugal goals for Gil Vicente before his move.
That prompted the Hammers to pay a reported £21.8million transfer fee for Pablo, while offering him a base weekly wage of £25,000.
Across a four-and-a-half-year deal, he will earn a potential £5.85m, something which may prove to be a waste if injuries continue to trouble him in E20.
From the striker’s perspective, he is protected against any fitness woes, having only just signed for West Ham, he won’t need to concern himself with that.
How many games could Pablo miss?
Knowing that the number 19 is set to stick around the London Stadium for the long-term, there will be a desire to get him back to full fitness as quickly as possible.
His calf injury does suggest that he could be out for up to six weeks, which could rule him out until an April fixture against Wolves.
The Irons have six outings across the Premier League and the FA Cup in that time and look likely to be without Pablo for those.
- Bournemouth (H) – 21/02/26 – Premier League
- Liverpool (A) – 28/02/26 – Premier League
- Fulham (A) – 04/03/26 – Premier League
- Brentford(H) – 07/03/26 – FA Cup
- Manchester City (H) – 14/03/26 – Premier League
- Aston Villa (A) – 22/03/26 – Premier League
There is a chance that the striker could be back in the squad as the claret and blue outfit welcome Wolves to E20 on 11 April.
That will represent a boost to Nuno’s side, meaning he could feature for the final seven league games of the campaign.
