Everton to consider re-hiring West Ham boss David Moyes

Everton would consider a move to re-hire David Moyes from West Ham if they lose Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid, according to the Telegraph.

The newspaper claims the Toffees are “braced for an official approach” from the La Liga giants, who seem intent on re-appointing Ancelotti in charge at the Bernabeu.

It is understood this huge news could have an impact on West Ham as the Telegraph reports Moyes, Eddie Howe and Nuno Espirito Santo could all be considered by Everton.

Get lost, Everton

This would be ridiculous.

Moyes is yet to officially sign a new contract at the London Stadium so unfortunately, there’s a chance Everton could make an approach to re-hire their former manager.

Moyes spent a long chunk of his career at Goodison Park.

The Scot spent 11 years in charge of the Merseyside club before moving on to manage Manchester United.

West Ham

He’s shown he’s not afraid to go back to a former club to help them out, as he has done with West Ham and what a fine job he has done in East London with the Hammers.

But he’s done too good a job to walk away now and he’d only be going back to Everton for sentimental purposes, not because it’s a better job.

We’re in Europe, we have a close-knit squad and we have the best supporters in the country.

Everton flopped badly last season considering the summer signings they made and the fact they had Ancelotti in the dug-out.

It’s a shock to see he could be ditching them already to go back to Real Madrid but it would be an ever bigger shock to see Moyes do one over on us and return to Merseyside.
