Everton set to cash in on West Ham target Calvert-Lewin in the summer

West Ham and Arsenal are reportedly on red alert as Everton will be looking to cash in on Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer.

According to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon, the Hammers are waiting to pounce as they’re eyeing a move for a striker.

The Hammers will not be put off by the striker’s heavy wages after enquiring about him in the January transfer window.

Calvert-Lewin is a full England international and has proven himself as a top Premier League striker.

While this season hasn’t quite gone as per plan for the 25-year-old, one can understand his plight.

The dressing room never really seemed to believe in Rafa Benitez, although Calvert-Lewin did fare well under him.

Frank Lampard too, is unable to bring the best out of this team and Everton seem like a club on the decline.

It makes sense for him to move to a club like West Ham.

David Moyes would build the team around him and ensure that he’s given good service throughout as he could be at the club for the next decade.

Calvert-Lewin is a strong and tall forward who can get others into the game and he would do well with the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Manuel Lanzini.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers have scouted a £20m-rated ‘Dangerous’ British striker and want to seal a permanent move this summer.
