Endrick engaged in ‘advanced conversations’ as West Ham set to learn January transfer fate
Endrick had been linked with a move to West Ham ahead of the winter window.
Despite a recent resurgence in form as showcased by West Ham’s 3-2 victory over Burnley last time out, there are still some major concerns to be addressed.
The league table is one of the, of course, but the Irons need to bolster their attacking options when January comes around.
Endrick was linked with a move to West Ham, and it seems as though the Brazilian is set to leave Real Madrid.
Lyon in pole psotiion to land Endrick
Endrick was once the next big thing in world football, but his development has halted since he made the move to Real Madrid.
The teenager has made just 38 appearances for the La Liga giants, and has just seven goals to his name in that period.
Only once of those appearances have arrived this season, with Real Madrid looking to offload him in January.
While the Hammers had shown an interest, Matteo Moretto has reported via X on 11 November that “advanced conversations” are underway ahead of a move to Lyon.
The Ligue 1 outfit sit seventh in the table, with just 18 goals from 12 league games so far this season.

What next for West Ham?
Endrick would have been an exciting name to see at the London Stadium, but whether he was the right fit remains unknown, and it will stay that way for the time being.
West Ham need someone to bring goals, and aside from one campaign with Palmerias, there is no evidence that Endrick would have brought that to the Premier League.
With that said, his profile in terms of age and versatility shows that they are looking in the right areas ahead of January, but it will be crucial to see one of those deals come to fruition.
The Hammers have scored 13 this season, which is around the average for a Premier League side outside of the top six, but adding to that is going to be a necessity.
