Early West Ham United team news for Premier League clash v Manchester City – Injury expert
David Moyes has two West Ham United players ruled out for the upcoming Premier League clash against Manchester City on Wednesday (3 May), according to injury expert Ben Dinnery.
Writing for the Premier Injuries website, Dinnery shared that Kurt Zouma is ruled out of the clash at The Etihad Stadium with an ankle injury he picked up in the 4-3 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday (29 April).
The Evening Standard shared on Sunday (30 April) that Zouma will be sent for a scan to find out the extent of the injury.

Meanwhile, Scamacca is ruled out of the clash with a knee injury that will is expected to keep the Italian sidelined until 5 June.

Huge blow
The injury to Zouma could well come back to haunt West Ham as they continue to fight on two fronts.
Although the club are probably within a win of Premier League safety, they aren’t quite out of the woods yet, and such a blow really isn’t the news Moyes wanted.
Zouma has been a mainstay in the starting lineup since returning from injury and one of the key players who has helped the West Ham United turnaround in the last fortnight.
It is not yet known whether the Frenchman will be sidelined for the Europa Conference League semi-final against AZ Alkmaar (Thursday, 11 May), but Moyes will be crossing his fingers for a speedy recovery.
Pep Guardiola’s rampant Manchester City is possibly the toughest test in Europe right now, and Nayef Aguerd and Angelo Obgonna will have to have their wits about them to keep them at bay and help West Ham towards a result.
