Early West Ham team news vs Brentford: Star set for first start under Nuno Espirito Santo, one injured
Nuno Espirito Santo seeks his first Premier League victory as West Ham boss.
After positive early signs at E20, Nuno wants to change the mentality at West Ham to a winning one.
The international break is coming to an end, and Nuno needs his West Ham players fit to be in with a fighting chance of turning results around.
Brentford is next for the Hammers, as the game comes as a great opportunity to get three points against a struggling side, although West Ham could be without Niclas Fullkrug.
Ahead of the Monday night showdown, West Ham have some mixed early team news updates which may change the way Nuno lines up against the Bees.

Update on George Earthy as Tomas Soucek is back for West Ham
The London Stadium has become toxic in recent times, and Nuno will be wanting to turn the ground into a place that Hammers fans enjoy going to once more.
West Ham look set for Tomas Soucek‘s return heading into the Brentford game, but may have to wait a little while longer for George Earthy to be available.
As reported by injury expert Ben Dinnery on Premier Injuries, George Earthy is ruled out of the game with a hamstring injury.
Dinnery claims the earliest return date for Earthy could be West Ham’s away game against Bournemouth on 22 November.
Soucek, on the other hand, has served out his three-game suspension and will be a big bonus for Nuno.
- Soucek was sent off in a 3-0 loss to Tottenham in September
- He missed games against Crystal Palace, Everton, and Arsenal
- Brentford will be Soucek’s first game under Nuno

Soucek hasn’t been at his best so far this season, but under Nuno, he’ll get a fresh lease of life.

Earthy could be a future star for Nuno Espirito Santo
Nuno has opted to play Soungoutou Magassa in his first two games in charge, but with Soucek back available, you would expect him to start.
Lucas Paqueta has been tipped for a West Ham exit once more, as Earthy could return to fitness at a time when Nuno may want to experiment with the young midfielder.
Earthy enjoyed a successful loan spell to Bristol City in the Championship last season, where he helped the Robins reach the Play-off Semi-finals.
We have already seen Nuno trust in youth with Magassa and Freddie Potts in midfield, and Earthy may just be the next one in line once he returns from injury.
