Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Nayef Aguerd updates shared by West Ham United source ahead of Manchester United clash
West Ham are reportedly not guaranteed to have Declan Rice, Nayef Aguerd and Tomas Soucek back in action v Manchester United on Sunday, 7 May.
According to Claret and Hugh’s sources [4 May], they’re hoping for the trio to return after they missed the loss against Manchester City on Wednesday, but nothing is confirmed thus far.
The Hammers suffered a 3-0 defeat to the now league leaders with Erling Haaland breaking the record for most goals in a Premier League season.

C&H wrote, “A Hammers source told Claret and Hugh: ‘Hopefully they will all be available but it is still too early to confirm’.”
Need them back
Rice’s absence was direly felt by West Ham as there was nobody to break up play as well as carry the ball from defence in the game against City.
Whenever the Englishman is not present, which is rare, the Hammers look like a side devoid of ideas as he’s the glue that holds this team together.
He appears set to leave the club in the summer and that’s undoubtedly going to be a sad moment for the fans but they’ve got to move on.

He will bring in a decent transfer fee which will then be put back into strengthening the squad for next season, hopefully under a new manager.
Tomas Soucek is another player who could be sold but there have been talks about him perhaps being handed a new deal.
He has played decently in the last few games and having him back v Manchester United will give the team solidity in the middle of the park.
