Declan Rice sends a strong message to West Ham fans
West Ham will face Rapid Vienna in the Europa League clash at the London Stadium on Thursday.
Ahead of the match, the Hammers midfielder Declan Rice has commented on his future, suggesting he is happy at the London club.
A host of Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Manchester City are reportedly vying for his signature, but Rice has suggested that transfer talks have not hampered his performance.
The 22-year-old has rejected two offers from the club over a contract extension, but West Ham are pretty relaxed about his situation.
Rice has three years left on his deal, with the option of another year, and he has been absolutely outstanding this season for his club.
The England midfielder, who scored a fantastic goal in West Ham’s victory over Dinamo Zagreb in their Group H opener, has now delivered a passionate message for the fans:
“And to the fans, you can see how happy I am on the pitch and there is nothing too much to say other than that. I love playing for this team, I love playing under the manager and every time I go out onto the pitch I will always give everything for them.”
