Declan Rice can’t settle at West Ham out of loyalty – Dean Jones
Dean Jones has warned West Ham midfielder Declan Rice away from staying at the club based solely on loyalty.
The England international has been continuously linked with a summer departure from the London Stadium with his Hammers future uncertain, as per The Telegraph.
Jones encouraged the 23-year-old to leave the Irons despite their excellent form under David Moyes in his second spell at the club.

He told GiveMeSport: “He believes that he’s one of the best midfielders in the world at this point, and not many of the best midfielders in the world would settle for just playing for a club out of loyalty.
“And Declan Rice can’t do that either.”
Nonsense
When will people stop giving their nonsensical views on what Rice should do with his career?
The game of football might not have much loyalty anymore but that could be the most special thing about the Londoner if he stays.
He has been continuously compared to Steven Gerrard and he was one of the most loyal footballers in English football history so hopefully, the Hammers’ star man follows in his footsteps.

It does seem inevitable in the modern game that he will leave but the Irons fans can always dream.
Let’s face it, the grass really isn’t greener anywhere else at the moment with Chelsea nearing financial ruin, Manchester United a mess and Manchester City and Liverpool unlikely to make a move.
The east London outfit are as competitive as they have ever been and Rice along with several other key players staying could easily take them to that next step so it will be interesting to see what he does.
In other West Ham news, Andriy Yarmolenko could return to the squad v Aston Villa – David Moyes.
