David Sullivan to blame as London Stadium chiefs grow frustrated by West Ham player
David Sullivan has come under fire from West Ham fans for his role in the summer transfer window.
West Ham missed out on multiple centre-back options, including Charlie Cresswell, on transfer deadline day due to their unwillingness to spend.
Sullivan has been asked to step down as West Ham chairman by supporters, who flooded the streets in protest prior to the game against Crystal Palace.
Frustrations are expected to grow in the coming weeks, with uncertainty remaining over whether or not Graham Potter will face the sack.

West Ham chiefs disappointed by form of Mads Hermansen
Mads Hermansen was dropped by Potter for the game against Crystal Palace.
Alphonse Areola, who had been expected to leave West Ham, came in to replace the Dane, and there was nothing he could do to avoid the two goals conceded.
The goalkeeping position had been a position of concern over the summer, with West Ham failing to sign Pierce Charles.
It has now been reported by The Sun that the Hammers’ hierarchy have been frustrated by the form of summer signing Hermansen, who has been Potter’s first choice in goal.
- Hermansen was at fault for two of the goals in West Ham’s opening-day 3-0 loss to Sunderland
- The Dane had looked promising for Leicester last season, despite relegation
John Victor had again been on the Irons’ radar at the end of the transfer window, but the Brazilian ultimately ended up joining Nottingham Forest.
With such a crucial period potentially ahead for Potter in East London, it will be interesting to see whether he puts his faith back in Hermansen.

David Sullivan ultimately to blame for Mads Hermansen signing
Sullivan and Karren Brady have come under fire for their poor transfer window.
The hierarchy consistently blamed Profit and Sustainability Rules for the lack of incomings, yet made £55million from Mohammed Kudus’ exit alone.
West Ham went cheap on signing Hermansen, who cost the Hammers just £18million, when there were Premier League-proven options elsewhere.
After failing to add depth in multiple positions, it feels like it’s time for Sullivan to give in, admit his mistakes, and step down as chairman.
