David Sullivan takes drastic action as West Ham exit calls continue at London Stadium
David Sullivan is nearing breaking point with West Ham United supporters yet again, following his failures in recent years.
West Ham fans left the London Stadium in floods during the Premier League showdown with Tottenham on Saturday, eventually losing 3-0.
Pressure continues to mount on the board with West Ham supporters wanting Sullivan to step down as chairman after a poor transfer window.
Tensions are set to snap between fans and the Hammers hierarchy, after three defeats from four, with relegation a strong prospect again this season.

David Sullivan has stopped talking to West Ham media
Sullivan’s job isn’t the only one under threat, as Graham Potter could be sacked should his side continue to let opposition roll over them.
The decisions that led up to appointing the former Chelsea boss have caused frustration among fans, with plenty still believing it was the wrong decision to sack David Moyes after he won the Europa Conference League.
It seems the recent criticism of Sullivan has been too much to bear.
Ex-WHUemployee, speaking on his Patreon podcast, shared the drastic measures that he has taken in recent weeks at the London Stadium.
He said: “David Sullivan has stopped talking to West Ham news outlets and journalists because they aren’t supporting him in the media.”
The crushing defeat to Spurs and the reaction from fans have sparked plenty of conversation, with the narrative that Sullivan needs to step down being heavily pushed from all angles.

How can David Sullivan get things back on track at West Ham?
It appears that most fans aren’t going to change their opinions on Sullivan after his disasters in recent seasons.
After sacking Moyes, the Irons had a terrible transfer window, signing the likes of Niclas Fullkrug in 2024.
The anger started from there, as the Hammers’ form continued to dip, and Julen Lopetegui was sacked, with Tim Steidten also biting the bullet.
Managers over the last year:
- David Moyes (2019-2024)
- Julen Lopetegui (2024-25)
- Graham Potter (2025-present)
However, there could still be a way back for Sullivan should he be more decisive and sack Potter and back the next manager.
The Welsh businessman would need to bring in a manager with more experience than Potter at the right end of the Premier League.
Jose Mourinho and Nuno Espirito Santos are both sitting there waiting for a new club, and if the Hammers don’t move quickly, they could miss out on two top managers.
