David Sullivan set to sack second West Ham figure after Graham Potter
Graham Potter’s time at West Ham appears to be coming to an end after less than nine months in charge.
West Ham were again disappointing in the 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, and the former Chelsea boss made some questionable decisions.
Potter elected to start James Ward-Prowse in midfield, and boos were heard from the London Stadium when the 30-year-old wasn’t substituted in the second half.
It now appears to be a case of when, not if, a new manager is appointed, with the Hammers unlikely to pick up results against Everton and Arsenal.

Kyle Macaulay set to leave alongside Graham Potter
Nuno Espirito Santos has been heavily linked with the West Ham job should Potter be sacked.
The Portuguese ex-Nottingham Forest manager started off as a goalkeeper coach in his native country, before showing his quality on the touchline with Porto.
Should Nuno be appointed, he will have to bring his own staff with him.
According to Monday’s print edition of The Sun, Potter’s right-hand man and head of recruitment, Kyle Macaulay, is also likely yo leave with him should the 50-year-old be sacked.
- Macaulay was appointed head of recruitment in January
- He has followed Potter throughout his career, with stints at Ostersunds, Swansea, Brighton and Chelsea
David Sullivan has been under pressure to make significant changes at West Ham, with supporters calling for him to step down as chairman.
The millionaire businessman appointed Macaulay in January, prior to the departure of Technical Director Tim Steidten.
Steidten’s awful recruitment in his 18 months in East London had caused concern among supporters, and it had been hoped that Macaulay would improve things.

West Ham recruitment failures continue
It had been hoped that the appointment of Macaulay would make the ideas of the manager and the club more aligned.
However, it appears to have done the opposite, and there is no doubt that there will have been some differences over the summer as the Hammers battled with Profit and Sustainability rules.
West Ham failed to secure all of their desired targets over the summer and fell short on deadline day in signing another centre-back.
Should Potter leave with Macaulay, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see recruitment failures in future transfer windows.
For the Hammers to fail to replace someone suitably multiple times in a row is an embarrassment and a clear sign that Sullivan and co must go.
