David Moyes wants to bring in new scouts at West Ham United

West Ham United manager David Moyes wants to bring in new scouts for his transfer team this summer, according to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon.

The Hammers are short in the department and are looking to make necessary additions.

The reliable Nixon took to his Twitter account to share the update this morning.

West Ham need to bolster their squad this summer, and Moyes is setting everything in motion to have a good transfer window.

Another wise move from Moyes

We love Moyes and he is proving what a good manager he is again.

West Ham signed Tomas Soucek permanently last summer alongside Vladimir Coufal, Craig Dawson and Said Benrahma, and the quartet, alongside Jesse Lingard who arrived from Manchester United on loan in January, played a huge role in ensuring we finished in sixth place in the Premier League table.

While some fans were not particularly excited by all of the signings, they proved to be masterstrokes by the scouting team in the end.

Recruiting a handful of new scouts for the transfer team would further help unearth some hidden gems across Europe and the rest of the world.

West Ham

Given the financial struggles at West Ham and other clubs as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, buying cheap but quality players with huge potential is the way to go, and Moyes is making a smart move.

We can only hope he gets the right talent spotters capable of identifying brilliant players that are presently under the radar.

The Irons are yet to make any signing this summer and we cannot wait to see how things go as we prepare for European football.
