David Moyes wants Mick Doherty to join West Ham United transfer team
David Moyes wants to sign up old spy Mick Doherty for his West Ham transfer team, as per Alan Nixon.
The Sun journalist wrote on his Patreon account (9 October) that the Hammers boss is looking to bring back the Doherty who is free after leaving Celtic.
The pair have previously worked before at Everton and they have stayed close down the years.

Good addition
Doherty is expecting to land a senior job on the scouting squad at Hammers.
Moyes believes that Doherty’s experience would be invaluable to the team. He has got great experience, and the pair did wonders at Goodison Park.
Nixon adds that Doherty was part of the Everton set up that brought through talents like Wayne Rooney, and he could be a great addition to the club.

Moyes has been doing a terrific job at the London Stadium, and the club trust him. Under his management, West Ham are now a formidable force to reckon with.
Only a couple of seasons back, the Hammers were fighting for survival when Moyes was appointed. Within a short period of time, he has nearly guided the side to a top-four finish in the past two seasons.
The club have shown great ambition in the market this summer by landing some quality players, and the club will look to develop and scout quality players going forward.
