David Moyes sack decision made at West Ham United in Premier League
West Ham could make their final decision on David Moyes’ future before his contract expires in the summer, with the next four games likely to make the difference, according to The Telegraph.
The newspaper shared via its website on 14 February that a defeat against Nottingham Forest would pile the pressure on ahead of games against Brentford, Everton and Burnley.
It is said that more demoralising results from those four games could decide Moyes’ fate, and failure to find an upturn in form over the coming weeks would almost certainly see him lose his job.
David Moyes pressure piling up at West Ham
If Moyes cannot find positive results against teams facing a relegation battle, the board’s mind should be made up. It then becomes a question of whether they sack him now, or wait until the summer to let him go when his contract expires.
Following a 6-0 defeat to Arsenal at the London Stadium, pressure has continued to pile on the manager, with the club delaying talks over a new contract which Moyes was expected to sign before the dip in form.
West Ham are still without a win in 2024 and have conceded 12 goals in their last four games, something which is not reminiscent of a typical Moyes side, with many fans beginning to turn on the boss.

For the most part, there seems to be a conflict between pundits on the outside and fans of the club, which usually points to the fans being right. Plenty of pundits have questioned the frustration towards him, but most of the fans are now starting to turn.
