David Moyes reacts as West Ham on the cusp of making history v Genk
West Ham will travel to Belgium to face Genk in the Europa League clash on Thursday.
The Hammers have won all of their opening three matches in this competition, and most importantly they have kept clean sheets.
In the previous match, David Moyes’ side won 3-0 against Genk at the London Stadium, and another victory here will secure their passage to the next round of the competition.

In the press conference, Moyes was told that West Ham have a chance to become the first English team to win four European games without conceding a goal.
The Hammers boss replied that he will tell the players about this stat and that it will be a “great achievement” for the club if they manage to do it.
“Anything we can get at West Ham we’ll take it. We’re pushing hard. I’ll tell the players that as well. We want to keep the clean sheet,” said Moyes, as quoted by Football London.
“It will give us every chance of getting a result. It would be a great achievement. This is new. One of my biggest worries about coming into the Europa League was how we would cope with not being used to it. We’ve coped with it, and I’m embracing it.”
Amazing run
The Hammers are enjoying a rich vein of form at the moment. They have picked up wins in their last five games in all competitions, including a penalty-shootout victory against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.
In fact, they have won eight out of their last nine games in all competitions, and West Ham players will be keen to dedicate another victory to their manager as he takes the dug-out for the 1000th time in his career.

It’s an incredible achievement for Moyes who has turned West Ham around. They have been absolutely brilliant in the Europa League this season, and Moyes will want nothing less than a victory today.
A win against Genk will ensure they move to the knock-out stages as group leaders. Moyes can then rotate his squad and rest some of his first-team players for the remaining two games. It will be a brilliant achievement if they can maintain a clean sheet as well.
In other West Ham news, the Hammer’s Carabao Cup clash with Tottenham has been confirmed for Sky Sports broadcast.
