David Moyes pulled plug on West Ham move for Nikola Milenkovic
West Ham United saw their move for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic collapse this week.
It appears as though it was the Irons who pulled the plug though, with David Moyes said to be the instigator.
Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth has shared a major update on the deal, with Moyes turning the Serbian away over late doubts on how he would fit into the squad.

Speaking on Sky Sports on Tuesday evening, Sheth shared exactly why the deal ended up collapsing when all looked good.
“West Ham were also in for Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic,” he said.
“That looked very close, and we all thought that Milenkovic would be coming to the London Stadium, but I’m told that David Moyes decided that he wasn’t 100% convinced that he was the right man for his squad.
“The way it works at West Ham, yes, David Sullivan will do the finances, but David Moyes will make the final decision.”

Eyes elsewhere.
We can only believe that this was because Moyes preferred Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma as his primary target.
The Irons have reportedly continued their talks for the Frenchman this week, but the asking price is remaining at £25million.
Looking at our business and how it has gone so far, we are not going to be able to just hand that over to our near rivals.
ExWHUemployee did share earlier today though that Chelsea are “desperate” to sell players, so that fee could lower.
Milenkovic doesn’t look like happening at all, with Moyes looking at other options with only two weeks to go in this window.
