David Moyes piles pressure on West Ham players ahead of Sevilla clash
David Moyes has piled the pressure on his West Ham players ahead of the clubs biggest European fixture in some years.
The Hammers face Sevilla tonight (March 10) in the first leg of their last 16 double header.
Moyes was adamant the Irons have what it takes to win at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

“We’re showing in the big games this season that we’ve stood up and been counted,” said Moyes as per the Evening Standard.
“I feel this [European knockouts] is where the group of players should be.
“I think the group of players we have got are capable, there have been times in the season where I have thought it wouldn’t matter who we are playing, that we would get a result and win.
“I expect my players to win. If we play Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, I expect them to win.”
Massive
This is going to be a very tough game but one the Hammers should win.

The Spanish side are in the best form they have been in recent years in terms of the league, sitting comfortably in second above the likes of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
It must not be forgotten that the Spanish outfit are the most successful team in Europa League history – under its various names – winning it more times than any other team so Moyes’ team have to be on red alert.
West Ham have struggled in recent seasons when getting to this stage of the competition. The more able footballing teams have often undone the Hammers, but they have been a different animal this term.
They more than showed their intent with the demolition of their group and with several brilliant performances against the best in England and the world for that matter, they should have enough to get past Sevilla.
