David Moyes opens up on West Ham United future
West Ham have made a poor start to the season, and David Moyes has admitted that he will be judged based on the results.
The Hammers will face Wolves on Saturday (1 October) in the Premier League after the international break, and Moyes will be under tremendous pressure if they fail to win their next few games.
Moyes has suggested that they are trying to integrate seven or eight new players, and that’s one of the reasons behind their poor league form.

“I think if you look back a couple of years, if you said West Ham had gone this far up the table you’d say that’s really good,” said Moyes, as quoted by The Evening Standard.
“We want to challenge there, we want to stay there. We haven’t got off to as good a start as we’ve wanted – we’ve played more games than any other Premier League club, we started the season with one fit centre back and we’re trying to integrate seven or eight players, so there are reasons.
“But I know I’m judged on results and they need to get better.”
Pressure
Moyes finds himself in a strange situation.
He has done an admirable job in the past couple of years, and there are even suggestions that he is a victim of his own success.
The Hammers were battling for survival when he took over, and he transformed them into a side that were chasing for the top-four finish in the previous two campaigns.
He also guided the club to the semi-finals of the Europa League. This summer, the club have trusted him with funds to bring the players of his choice.

West Ham have brought in several new faces and Moyes is facing problems in integrating them.
At the same time, there are also suggestions that the Hammers boss has got wrong with his team selection so far.
Moyes retains the support of the Hammers board, but the results need to improve quickly. Otherwise, he will not only lose the dressing room but the faith of the owners as well.
