David Moyes meets with Jesse Lingard ahead of potential West Ham transfer

David Moyes has met with Jesse Lingard ahead of a potential move to West Ham United in the next 48 hours.

Claret and Hugh have reported that the duo met in London last night after Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Wolves.

The former loan star is said to be still renting the same flat he was in during his loan spell at the London Stadium last season.

Moyes supposedly lives in the same building, making any potential meeting very easy this weekend.

Lingard didn’t come off the bench at Molineux and was forced to watch from the sidelines as Mason Greenwood fired in the winner.

The playmaker could also return on another loan move, but that may only happen should he sign a new deal at Old Trafford.

Moyes’ intentions for the meeting were unknown, but it is easy to assume that it was to try and persuade him to make that switch.

Get it done.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may not be able to make up his mind, and Lingard may have to take that jump himself.

With Cristiano Ronaldo arriving in the near future, the playmaker has now fallen down the pecking order by one slot.

The England international is surely guaranteed starts at the London Stadium, and at this stage of his career, that should be his priority.

Hopefully, Moyes can work his magic and this brilliant start to the season can persuade Lingard that European football remains the goal.
