David Moyes: Lukasz Fabianski will stay at West Ham for another season
David Moyes has confirmed that Lukasz Fabianski will stay for another season at West Ham.
The 36-year-old has a contract at the club till 2022, but he is still proving to be one of the consistent players for the Hammers.
He has made 30 appearances in the Premier League this season, and has kept seven clean sheets.

Moyes has confirmed that Fabianski will stay which means he’ll be offered a new deal shortly.
“Lukasz has played really well this year and we will be keeping him next year – of course we will. I think maybe the age Lukasz is at, we have tried to spare him,” said Moyes as quoted by the Daily Mail.
“I have to say I think Lukasz, touch wood, has been very good in the league and performed consistently well.”
Good decision
It’s a fantastic decision from the club.
The summer transfer window will be vital for the Hammers where Moyes may need to bring several new faces to the club.
Signing a striker is important while adding another central midfielder, an attacking midfielder, a central defender and another full-back is also a priority.
If the Hammers can agree to keep Alphonse Areola on loan for another season from Paris Saint-Germain before making the move permanent, the goalkeeping department will be sorted.

Fabianski has been superb this season. He has been hailed for making “world-class” saves against Aston Villa by Garth Crooks on BBC Team of the Week (14 March).
The goalkeeper deserves a new contract, despite his age. His reflexes are still sharp and have made some outstanding saves this season.
He was once seen as an error-prone goalkeeper, but he has got rid himself of that label at West Ham. He could now be set for his fifth year at the London club.
Fabianski has played in Premier League games while Areola has been used in Europa League games. The Frenchman will be back in goal on Thursday when the Hammers take on Lyon in the Europa League.
