David Moyes delivers injury update on West Ham duo
David Moyes has suggested that he cannot “guarantee” when West Ham forward Jarrod Bowen will return.
Vladimir Coufal is another player who is out injured at the moment after he has undergone an operation on his hernia.
Moyes is hopeful that they both can return after the international break, but he has refused to put a timeframe.

When asked if Bowen and Coufal can return after the international break, Moyes said as quoted by Football London: “I hope so, but I cannot guarantee it at the moment.
“I think Vladimir is a little further down the line because we know what he had, an operation on his hernia and he is doing quite well. Jarrod I cannot be sure on.”
Huge miss
Bowen has been outstanding for the Hammers this season, managing 12 goals and nine assists in all competitions.
He picked up an Achilles injury against Liverpool and has been absent since. Losing him is a huge blow for the club and the Hammers need him back at the earliest.
Said Benrahma has stepped in recent weeks while Andriy Yarmolenko has chipped in with crucial goals, but Bowen is still the man to rely on.
At times this season, he has single-handedly carried the team forward, and it is his goals and assists that has kept West Ham into the fight for the top four.
The Hammers can still manage the absence of Coufal, as Johnson is a reliable back-up option. But Bowen’s loss leaves a big hole in the side.

What has been really frustrating for Moyes is that goals have dried up for Michail Antonio. The Hammers striker has struggled for goals upfront, and it has put tremendous pressure on other players.
Hopefully, the duo will be back after the international break.
In other West Ham news, the Irons want to sign this “incredible” defender with his price-tag set to be slashed by 65 per cent.
