David Gold thanks West Ham fans as GSB sticker spotted

West Ham United and the potential takeover has been the huge talking point of the year at the London Stadium.

PAI Captial tried their best to get a deal over the line, but GSB stayed strong and rejected their approaches over the summer.

David Gold and Sullivan have been very vocal that they won’t be selling the club anytime soon, and especially to someone they don’t believe is fit.

Stickers have been spotted around the capital this month, and Gold himself saw one on Saturday morning.

The sticker read “GSB Stay” and writing on his personal Twitter account, the co-owner delivered a message to the fans,

“Thank you,” he wrote. “Whoever you are.”

Really?

Jokes have already started flying around social media that Gold himself was the one who placed the sticker on the lamp-post.

Now, GSB aren’t favoured by many around the London Stadium, but they have delivered on their plans to pump money into the squad this season.

If they can make that a continual promise and consistent European football is delivered, no one would surely have any complaints.

Only Gold will know if he placed that sticker but we highly doubt he did, but at least he knows that he has support from some corners of the ground.

PAI Capital continue to speak out despite their plans to finalise this takeover not even getting close, and if they were that serious, they would have done whatever it takes.

The most important thing right now is what is happening on the pitch, and it is looking quite rosy for the Irons.
