David Gold sets Arthur Masuaku challenge for West Ham clash v Fulham

West Ham United are set to take on Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The Irons will be ready for this clash at the London Stadium, with their last two fixtures having been against Manchester City and Liverpool.

David Moyes will be desperate for three points, picking back up their winning run from before those last two challenges.

David Gold is ready for the game and has even delivered a message to one player, who will be celebrating his birthday on Saturday.

“Happy Birthday to Arthur Masuaku who turns 27 today,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account.

“Scoring the winning goal would be a great way to celebrate your birthday have a great day Arthur.”

Gold isn’t a popular figure in East London, but the co-chairman is getting involved, and it is more than can be said for many other owners in the Premier League.

Masuaku will be eager to get his name on the scoresheet, and it will be a great opportunity to do that against Fulham.

It will be a different game against the Cottagers, who defensively aren’t up to scratch compared to some of the teams they have faced recently.

That will give Masuaku the chance to get on the front foot, and use his wing-back role to get forward rather than add an extra man in defence.
