With West Ham United in desperate need of attacking quality this summer, and in the event they secure their Premier League status come May, Kamada is a player they simply cannot ignore as they attempt to rebuild an ailing squad.

Several of their star players have been linked with moves away at the end of the season, especially the likes of Declan Rice who leaving for big money to Arsenal as well as Michail Antonio, Gianluca Scamacca, Manuel Lanzini and Tomas Soucek who all also could be leaving the London Stadium.

This means the Hammers will certainly have money in the bank to revamp their squad and it’s in the midfield where they could desperately desire the most of a significant rebuild, especially as they could lose the services of both Rice and Soucek.

Kamada could address some gaping holes in a midfield which would miss the technical excellence, engine, middle-third endeavour and class after Rice’s departure and the former Frankfurt midfielder possesses all the hallmarks to become an instant favourite at the London Stadium.

The Japanese World Cup star enjoyed another terrific campaign in the German Bundesliga, registering an impressive nine goals and six assists from 32 games and 16 goals in all competitions.

And the Japanese playmaker is known to improve the players around him through his huge tactical understanding and intelligence both in the attack and defence.

The 26-year-old showcased his tremendous and unique exploits scoring in all three of this season’s Champions League group stages, especially against capital rivals Tottenham.

His feats were on show for all of Europe to see the season before last as his creativity in the final third and his midfield versatility helped Frankfurt defeat Rangers in the 2022 Europa League final and they also excelled brilliantly last term thanks to Kamada’s unique qualities in all phases of Oliver Glasner’s transitional approach at Frankfurt.

The Hammers certainly know a thing or two about winning major European trophies, and will certainly be working on an assault on the Europa League next season.
