Contact made as £100m plus player transfer on cards for Rice at West Ham United – Sky Sports

West Ham have already received enquiries for Declan Rice, with the Hammers set to accept £100million plus a player for the midfielder, according to Sky Sports.

Rice has long been linked with an exit from the East London outfit, with that exit looking increasingly likely at the end of the current campaign.

Several Premier League giants have been linked with his signature, including London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.

Mega battle incoming

Rice is certain to be one of the most sought-after players of the summer transfer window, with several clubs set to fight it out for his signature.

West Ham will undoubtedly be worried about losing their star man, but the club will be handed an immediate boost given just how much money they can bring in for his sale.

And if this recent development plays true, they could even have a ready-made replacement plus a huge amount of money to spend on other players.

Rice has been one of the standout midfielders in world football in recent years, with the skipper showing all his class on the pitch this season by helping the Hammers drive towards silverware in Europe.

He has also been key to their league campaign, shining brightly and helping push his side away from the relegation zone in recent times.

If the Europa Conference League trophy is won and the club stay in the Premier League, the Hammers will undoubtedly be able to gain the maximum fee for Rice, compared to being lowballed if they didn’t lift the trophy and were relegated from the top flight.
