BT Sport pundit shares prediction of West Ham United Premier League clash v Arsenal
Joleon Lescott has predicted Arsenal to get the job done and pick up the three points when they take on West Ham on boxing day.
While he has predicted the Hammers to put up a fight, he sees the challenge from the league leaders as too strong to resist.
He does back David Moyes’ side to be assertive and put their bodies on the line, but does not think that will be enough to stop Mikel Arteta’s team.

Lescott, a BT Sport pundit, told Livescore, “As I mentioned previously, I’m expecting Arsenal to pick up exactly where they left off when West Ham visit.
“David Moyes’ men will present a physical challenge but the Gunners have shown they are more than capable of rising to it.
“The good times will keep rolling at the Emirates, for now at least!
“Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 West Ham.”
Tough one
It’s not going to be easy going up against the best team in the league and Moyes will surely be aware of the challenge his side are facing.
However, if there was any time to face Arsenal, it’s now and he’ll surely be telling the West Ham players exactly that.
Gabriel Jesus is unavailable and there’ll certainly be a post World Cup hangover in the Arsenal dressing room as well.
If West Ham are abrasive and let the Gunners know that they cannot play through them, this could end up being a favourable result for them.
That said, if Moyes is handed a draw at kick-off, he will snap your fingers off as it’s the kind of result that will bring positivity back.
This season hasn’t been ideal for the Hammers and they find themselves in serious relegation trouble with Moyes fighting for his job.
