Bruno Guimaraes loves video clip he’s seen from West Ham United loss v Aston Villa
Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes has told Lucas Paqueta he loves him after scoring in the West Ham defeat to Aston Villa.
The Hammers star scored from the spot after Tomas Soucek was awarded a penalty in controversial circumstances.
Villa keeper Emi Martinez was sent the wrong way for the 26-year-old to open his goalscoring account for the year.
Sharing a video of the penalty to Instagram (17 August), fellow Brazil international Guimaraes reacted with a comment saying: “I love you”.

The Irons’ talisman has started the season in positive fashion with a goal from 12 yards and some positive touches throughout.
With the Brazilian combining with Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus, Lopetegui’s side did look dangerous when going forward.
Paqueta will have been disappointed to be substituted but it could be said that the performance level increased without him on the pitch bizarrely.
There is a chance he was taken off after featuring heavily for Brazil at the Copa America, although his nation didn’t go as deep as they’d like in the competition.
On international duty will be where he has developed a friendship with Guimaraes as opposed to any sort of transfer link between the two.
Given all the noise surrounding the West Ham man and his betting allegations, he has done well to shut out the noise and focus on his football.
It will be interesting to see how important he will become under Lopetegui as the season moves forward.
