Anton Ferdinand provides update as PAI Capital plot West Ham takeover

PAI Capital are looking to complete a takeover of West Ham United and have contacted Rio and Anton Ferdinand in a bid to get it done.

The London-based group have already tabled a £400million bid to the Hammers, but it has since been knocked back.

West Ham majority shareholder David Sullivan has insisted the club will not be sold, but the majority of fans want him and the current board members gone.

Ferdinand has taken to his personal Twitter account to provide an exciting update on PAI Capital’s plans for the club.

New owners incoming?

Anton is West Ham through and through after spending 14 years during his time with the academy and first-team.

The former centre-back surely wants to see us doing well and taking things to the next level after finishing in sixth place last season.

Just like the majority of the supporters, Ferdinand does not trust the board to aid manager David Moyes’ ambitions in the dugout, and the slow transfer window we have had so far this summer says it all.

West Ham have not made a senior outfield signing since transfer business started, and we have completely lost faith in GSB.

We can only trust PAI Capital based on what the likes of Ferdinand have told us, but they look like the real deal.

Our club should be challenging for a top-four finish and silverware every season, but Sullivan and co. cannot get that done as they just do not know how to run a club effectively.

Sealing Europa League football was largely due to the brilliance of Moyes and his players, and we can only imagine what he would do with a world-class squad at his disposal.

PAI Capital could be the ones to get us dreaming again, and we hope their takeover ambitions come to pass.
