‘Almighty GOAT’ – These West Ham fans rave about Saturday display from loanee ace

West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to hail loanee striker Jordan Hugill for his goalscoring turn for QPR on Saturday.

The 27-year-old hit his 12th goal of the season in all competitions for the Championship club to spark a dramatic comeback against Stoke City that saw his side overturn a two-goal deficit to eventually win 4-2.

And onlooking Hammers liked what they saw, with some even suggesting that he should be given a chance with his parent club.

It’s not hard to see why either.

As well as his impressive goal’s tally, Hugill also has an average of 2.3 shots and 3.5 aerial duels won per game to his name so far this season, as per Whoscored.

In short, he is a nuisance with a tendency to pop up in the right place at the right time.

While it’s important to remember the fact that he is doing so in the second tier, the fact is that he looks as if he could a useful asset – especially if worst comes to the worst.

Nobody wants to think about relegation, clearly, but if the unthinkable happens and the Irons cannot avoid the drop this term, there will at least a minute silver lining to be gleaned from the fact that they have a ready-made and proven Championship marksman amongst their ranks, should they wish to deploy him.
