Ally McCoist shares if he wants West Ham to beat Eintracht Frankfurt
TalkSPORT pundit Ally McCoist has admitted that he wants West Ham to beat Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League.
David Moyes decided to rest several key Irons players in their 1-0 loss against Chelsea on the weekend ahead of Thursday’s [April 28] semi-final clash against the Germans.
The Hammers travel to the Commerzbank Arena for the first leg of the tie ahead of the return leg at the London Stadium on May 5.

Speaking as a Rangers fan on talkSPORT via Daily Record, he said: “I’d rather be playing Frankfurt than RB Leipzig.
“I just think Leipzig is a tougher game.
“I so want West Ham to beat Frankfurt, I really do.”
Remain focussed.
Frankfurt will be no walk in the park but the other German team left in the competition does look to be a much stiffer opposition.
RB Leipzig sit comfortably in fourth place in the Bundesliga whereas the Hammers’ opponents meander in ninth.
That doesn’t mean that Moyes’ side can take their foot off the gas by any stretch.
Frankfurt have got to this stage of the competition purely on merit and beating Barcelona in the last round goes to show the quality they possess.

West Ham have their backs against the wall for this tie with Angelo Ogbonna, Kurt Zouma and Issa Diop all out injured leaving Craig Dawson as the only fit senior centre-back in the squad.
That will just add to the grit and determination of the players and with the first leg being at home, they stand a great chance.
Moyes was able to rest Michail Antonio against Chelsea as well as reduce the minutes Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen played which should mean the Hammers’ attackers are at their best.
The Irons might be able to overwhelm Frankfurt, with the backing of the home fans, and give themselves some breathing space ahead of the second leg.
In other West Ham news, Micah Richards has gushed over one man’s “excellent” performance against Chelsea.
