Ally McCoist rages at West Ham United penalty decision v Bournemouth
Ally McCoist was left raging after West Ham United were awarded a penalty to seal their 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Monday evening.
Jordan Zemura was deemed by VAR to have handled the ball illegally in the box before Said Benrahma smashed it home to seal yet another three points.
McCoist could not believe his eyes and labelled the decision as “scandalous” as VAR took centre-stage in the Premier League yet again this week.

Speaking live on talkSPORT on Tuesday 25th October as shared on Twitter, McCoist flew off the hinges at what he was seeing at the London Stadium.
“Penalty? Scandalous decision,” he said.
“An absolute scandalous decision. Zemura goes to block the tackle, his hands and arms are in a totally natural position, once again, there is no way he has attempted to gain an advantage or indeed, in my opinion as he attempted to make himself bigger.
“Therefore, that award also should not have been given.”
Scandal?
Technology was at the heart of everything in this one, with Thilo Kehrer also going under the microscope for a supposed handball before Kurt Zouma headed home.
We have to admit, these were not clear-cut decisions and if they had gone against us, it would have been a completely different story this morning.
It is nice to see us get a couple of decisions, especially after the fiasco down at Southampton in the previous week where it went against West Ham United massively.
Zemura was unlucky with this one, but it appears that no one understands the handball rule again, only a couple of years after it was changed again to make it clearer.
Officials, players, staff and fans are all left bamboozled as some are called and some are not, leading to outrage more often than not in the Premier League.
Change may have to come again because technology and the officiating is ruining our game quickly.
