Alex Crook shares ‘incredible’ Marcus Rashford to West Ham admission live on air
Marcus Rashford signing for West Ham United would be “incredible” after several transfer links around Europe, Alex Crook has said.
The Hammers are currently in talks with Manchester United to decipher whether a move to the London Stadium is realistic this month, with a big question mark over the player’s wage [Luke Edwards].
It is understood the 27-year-old has already rejected a move to Saudi Arabia, with a number of European giants keeping an eye on the situation, and Graham Potter’s side is one of those interested.
Speaking live via talkSPORT [13 January, 5:42pm], Crook said: “Wouldn’t it be incredible after all this interest from Barcelona, Milan, Dortmund and Juventus if Marcus Rashford were to end up at West Ham?”

With Potter handed an injury crisis just days into his tenure – Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug both sidelined – the Hammers are desperate to add a new striker this month [Jacob Steinberg].
Jarrod Bowen has also hopped onto the treatment table with a broken toe, joining Emerson and Jean-Clair Todibo.
Although he has been far from his best for quite a while, Rashford would be an incredible addition to the Irons’ forward line, still being joint-top of Man United’s scoring list in the Premier League.
He has netted just three times since October, once against Ipswich Town and twice against Everton, but has fallen back down Ruben Amorim’s pecking order.

Rashford has been in the Red Devil’s squad once since 12 December, not even featuring in the 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United, so it is clear that the Hammers have a very real chance of grabbing his signature.
The only thing standing in the way of the England international’s proposed move to the London Stadium is his eye-watering wages, but many supporters will be hoping this can be resolved before the window slams shut.
