Agent drops Declan Rice transfer news as ‘communications’ update emerges on West Ham United ace
There are “some communications” with Arsenal to have West Ham ace Declan Rice in their midfield next season, according to agent Haydn Dodge.
The Gunners have been one of many clubs strongly linked with the Hammers captain, who is “super appreciated on the market” [Fabrizio Romano].
Rice, who joined West Ham as a teenager in 2014, is approaching the final 12 months of his contract at the club.

“Declan Rice has always been a recruitment target for Liverpool, but I’m also being told that he would like to stay around London,” Dodge wrote for CaughtOffside.
“I know Mason Mount was a big target for Liverpool around the same time, but both Mount and Rice may be Arsenal bound, and I know there are some communications with Arsenal to have those two based in their midfield.
“I think Rice suits Arsenal’s style of play and has everything needed as a modern day midfielder, but that equally applies to Chelsea and Liverpool.”

Tense battle
There are plenty of rumours flying about regarding the West Ham skipper, but it remains unclear where he will be playing his football next season.
One very likely scenario, however, is that he will not be at the London Stadium, with many supporters fully aware that they will probably have to say a reluctant goodbye to their star man this summer.
Hope remains that Rice will see out his current deal at the club, but given the huge potential fee that West Ham could receive for the England international, a summer move is increasingly likely.
Fortunately for the Hammers, that fee is seemingly increasing by the day, with Rice continuing to impress in the heart of midfield.
The 24-year-old put in another top display in the 2-1 loss to Liverpool on Wednesday (26 April), covering almost every blade of grass in the narrow defeat.
He has also taken his attacking game to the next level in recent times with a few goals, complementing his passing and tackling prowess.
