Ade Oladipo and Rory Jennings clash over Declan Rice West Ham United exit live on air
Ade Oladipo and Rory Jennings have clashed live on talkSPORT regarding Declan Rice’s exit from West Ham United.
The England international left the Hammers to join fellow Premier League club Arsenal in the summer transfer window for £105million.
The 24-year-old midfielder made almost 250 appearances in claret and blue before his move across London to the Gunners.

“I’m not going to say it’s a bargain, because that’s kind of what you say, but Rice for £105million, all of a sudden no one is talking about the price tag anymore are they?” Oladipo said to Jennings live on talkSPORT.
Jennings replied: “I think it’s fair to call it a bargain,” with Oladipo responding: “It’s not a bargain. £105million can’t be a bargain.”
Jennings replied: “Of course it can in football terminology. What you’re doing is making £100million relate to everyday life, which is ludicrous, because football is existing in this false microenomy that is fairly hateful. And in that false microenomy that is fairly hateful, Rice represents a bargain.”

Bargain?
Rice was undoubtedly the main man in East London before his summer transfer to Arsenal, where he has settled in effortlessly.
An exit from the London Stadium was on the cards for quite some time given the midfielders’ displays in claret and blue and for England.
And he has continued those impressive performances this season under manager Mikel Arteta, with an emotional return to the London Stadium in the offing when the Gunners travel to West Ham for their League Cup clash on Wednesday (1 November).
It will be interesting to see what kind of reception the midfielder gets, with some fans certain to still be angered at his decision to move on earlier this year.
West Ham certainly miss their former captain, but they did very well to firstly gain such a huge fee for his services, and to secondly replace him with the likes of James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez.
In other West Ham news, Hammers scouts are in action already with a new South American transfer on the cards in January.
