Aaron Ramsey comments 'frustrating' Juventus spell amid West Ham interest

Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey has said that he can still be a success at the Serie A club, amid strong interest from West Ham.

According to a recent report from Calciomercato, Juventus are willing to sell Ramsey. Several Premier League clubs including West Ham and Everton are interested in signing him.

Juventus desperately want him off their books, but Ramsey has suggested that he is determined to do justice at the Italian club.

Ramsey was impressive during Wales’ 2-2 draw away to the Czech Republic. The former Arsenal player has suggested that he received congratulatory messages from the Italian club for his display in Prague.

“Hopefully I can still show exactly what I can do there,” said Ramsey, as quoted by The Times.

“Things have been frustrating and haven’t quite gone to plan but I have never doubted my ability. I had a load of messages congratulating me. They are aware of me playing, but I just go out there and try to do the best I can.”

Bad signing

The 30-year-old is not the same player anymore who became a top Premier League midfielder at Arsenal. Not only he has lost pace, but his sharpness and incisive passing are also missing from his game these days.

Wales manager Robert Page has suggested that he would be better off ending his adventure in Italy and move to the Premier League.

Massimiliano Allegri has used Ramsey for only 106 minutes this season, and the Wales midfielder has done little to justify his selection in the first team.

West Ham are heading in the right direction under David Moyes who recently stated that he would be looking to bring in more young British talents in the side.

Ramsey has a contract worth more than £250,000 a week until 2023, and it would be a financially risky decision to sign him when there are lots of exciting young midfielders available in the market.
