Wolves vs West Ham weather latest: Will it snow and could match be postponed?

West Ham travel to Wolves in what could be a season-defining match on Saturday.

Nuno Espirito Santo is under immense pressure as West Ham sit four points adrift from Premier League safety in 18th place.

West Ham’s 2-2 draw with Brighton on Tuesday means he has only managed two wins in 13 matches, with both victories coming at the London Stadium in November.

West Ham are currently losing the relegation battle, although they have a huge opportunity to close the gap on 17th-placed Nottingham Forest in their first game of 2026.

With the Hammers facing a winless Wolves team at Molineux, concerns over the weather conditions across England have emerged.

Wolves vs West Ham not at risk of postponement

No weather warnings have been put in place for the Midlands, despite there being a risk of snow in the North East and South West of England.

Weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office for the entirety of Scotland and different areas in the UK, but Wolverhampton remains unaffected.

With the match kicking off at 3pm, fans can expect a temperature of around one degree Celsius, which could drop to -1 by the end of the match.

No rain is expected, and the game will not be postponed at Molineux unless there is a serious deterioration in weather conditions.

Nuno will be firmly focused on the task at hand as he looks to secure his most important win as West Ham manager.

West Ham’s season could boil down to the match vs Wolves

Wolves have only managed to win three points all season, with one of those coming in the draw away to Man United on Tuesday.

The Hammers have already dropped points to Fulham and Brighton over the Christmas period, and they can’t afford to falter against a side that looks destined for relegation.

Nuno has been dealt a huge blow ahead of kick-off, with Lucas Paqueta reportedly unavailable due to his ongoing back injury.

Jarrod Bowen will bear the responsibility of firing in the goals, although new signing Pablo has been registered in time to feature against Wolves.

The Hammers simply can’t slip up on Saturday, and if they do, they could lose further ground on the teams above them.

As the second half of the season gets underway, a win is necessary; otherwise, it could be looked back on as the moment West Ham were condemned to relegation.
