West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek declares himself fit for Liverpool clash
West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek has declared himself fit for this evening’s (March 5) Premier League clash with Liverpool.
The Czech Republic international suffered a gash on his face which required stitches last time out in the FA Cup against Southampton.
David Moyes said he hoped Mark Noble was an option amid the midfield injury concern but Soucek’s tweet has given the Scot a nice selection headache.

He said: “More scars in my selection.
“I feel ready to fight again, that’s no fear for me.”
Play him
If he but more importantly the medical staff declare them fit, then there is only one option Moyes needs to consider – playing Soucek.
With all due respect to Noble, he can’t be starting against one of the best teams in Europe, on their own patch.
It will be a very tough battle as it is, and West Ham can’t afford any drop off in pace or energy against a very lively Jurgen Klopp team.
It is imperative the Irons have all of their best players fit and firing for today’s game if they have any chance of taking something away from Anfield and Soucek is definitely one of those players.
The Hammers know how important it is to win every game from now until the end of the season to keep their Champions League hopes alive.
With Liverpool in such good form they might have to call upon some favours from the likes of Manchester City and Watford this weekend.
However, it is all still to play for and the Irons need to carry the confidence from the 3-2 victory over the Reds at the London Stadium into today’s game.
