West Ham early team news vs Everton: Graham Potter confirms star will miss trip to Merseyside
West Ham are in desperate need of a victory as they travel to Everton on Monday night.
West Ham were defeated 2-1 by Crystal Palace last weekend to leave them stranded in the bottom three, having conceded 13 goals in their first five games.
The pressure on Graham Potter is rising by the minute, with the likes of Nuno Espirito Santo lined up as Potter’s replacement should David Sullivan choose to pull the trigger.
An improved display and result is required for the trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Everton yet to concede a competitive goal at their new stadium.
Ahead of the trip to Merseyside on Monday night, Potter has spoken out about his squad’s condition as he looks for a vital match-up.

Graham Potter offers injury update ahead of Everton vs West Ham
West Ham will be without Tomas Soucek after he was sent off in the 3-0 defeat to Tottenham, with the midfielder set to miss out until after the international break through suspension.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka was looking to return to contention for the trip to Everton, having missed the defeats to both Spurs and Palace through a stomach problem.
However, Potter has confirmed that the defender will be missing for the trip to Merseyside, but added that the rest of the squad is available.
Potter said at Friday’s press conference: “It will still be Aaron missing. He is still struggling with his stomach problem, but apart from that, everyone is available.”

Graham Potter desperately needs to beat Everton
West Ham have been awful this season. There is no other way to describe them so far.
Goals are flying in at the wrong end on a regular basis, while the attack is struggling to click into gear, leaving fans disgruntled and nervous about the genuine threat of relegation.

Potter’s sacking almost looks inevitable, and a defeat on Merseyside would only speed up the possibility of his departure.
A win, however, would give Hammers fans hope that they can turn their season around, as there is clear quality in the side that shouldn’t be anywhere near a relegation battle.
It may be too late for Potter to save his job prospects, but a victory would definitely help his case.
