Vaishali Bhardwaj thrilled by Jesse Lingard moment in West Ham loss v Everton
Vaishali Bhardwaj was left stunned by West Ham United playmaker Jesse Lingard in the 1-0 defeat against Everton on Sunday afternoon.
The Manchester United loanee has been a revelation in the final third, but it was his defensive work that caught the eye in this disappointing loss.
Lingard put in an inch-perfect tackle towards the end of the clash at the London Stadium, as Everton looked to fire home a second.
Writing on her personal Twitter account during the game, Bhardwaj was thrilled by Lingard’s efforts in defence during the defeat.
“Jesse Lingard with a fabulous last-ditch tackle there,” she said.

This is exactly the type of attitude which has helped us get into the position we are in today in the Premier League.
It wasn’t the best of afternoons for the club against Everton, but there were enough chances to turn it around and take home three points.
Qualifying for the Europa League will still be a major achievement this season, and Lingard has played a massive role in that since arriving in January.
This was another sign that the playmaker is willing to do everything it takes for the club, and something that proves he is here to stay.
We are praying that he wants to stick around at the London Stadium, as he has been sensational since arriving, not just in attack, but also in defence as we clearly saw this afternoon.
